Candidate must be able to teach Accounting courses. The preferred candidate will teach Managerial,
Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and Il, Federal Income Tax , Government Accounting and Auditing. He/She is expected to conduct
research and publish in academic Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Analytics Publications. The candidate is expected to participate in
Tuskegee University events. The position requires the candidate to teach courses on site at Tuskegee University.
Essential
Job Duties
- Introduce students to various industry strategies and prepare Accounting majors for CPA Exam.
- Provide
students with internship opportunities through external organizations ( NABA) - Help students to navigate in Business models ,Block
chain, and other environments. - Teach on Tuskegee University campus.
- Advise Accounting students and preparing them for
internships and early career opportunities. - Participate in several university functions. These functions include convocations and
annual commencement exercises. - Work some weekend hours for Convocations and Open House Events.
Preferred
Qualifications
- PhD/DBA from an AACSB accredited institution.
- Understanding of educating underserved
students. - Experience in Accounting and Auditing Sales preferred.
- Must be able to teach on site at Tuskegee
University
