About NPCIL Executive Engineer Trainee Vacancy 2026

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL), a premier central Public Sector Enterprise, under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India (GoI) has invited application from Engineering Graduates after a gap of two years for the recruitment for the posts of Executive Engineer Trainees (ET-26) in various engineering disciplines for the year 2026 through the score of GATE 2024/2025/2026 only. NPCIL Executive Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2026 Vacancies

• Executive Trainee (ET-2026): 330 vacancies (UR-126, EWS-31, OBC-97, SC-52, ST-24) (PWD-31) in various engineering disciplines, Age: 26 years as on 30/04/2026, Stipend: ₹74000/- per month (One time Book Allowance – ₹30,000/-), will be posted in the pay level-10 of 7th CPC pay matrix ₹56100-177500/- as Scientific Officers ‘C’, Qualification: BE/B. Tech./B. Sc. (Engineering)/5-year Integrated M Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the 6 engineering disciplines mentioned above from a recognised University/ Deemed University or Institute recognised by AICTE/UGC. Applicants must have a valid GATE 2024/2025/2026 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
1. Mechanical Engineering: 125 vacancies (UR-48, EWS-12, OBC-37, SC-20, ST-08) 
2. Chemical Engineering: 40 vacancies (UR-15, EWS-4, OBC-12, SC-6, ST-3) 
3. Electrical Engineering: 65 vacancies (UR-25, EWS-6, OBC-18, SC-10, ST-5) 
4. Electronics Engineering: 50 vacancies (UR-19, EWS-5, OBC-15, SC-8, ST-03) 
5. Instrumentation Engineering: 15 vacancies (UR-6, EWS-1, OBC-2, SC-2, ST-2) 
6. Civil Engineering: 35 vacancies (UR-13, EWS-3, OBC-19, SC-6, ST-3) 

Interested candidates should possess a valid GATE 2024/2025/2026 score in any of the disciplines mentioned above at the time of applying online in NPCIL. Candidates will be shortlisted for a personal interview on the basis of a valid score obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024/2025/2026.

A non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- is chargeable only to Male applicants belonging to General, EWS and OBC categories. All Women candidates, candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, PwBDs, Dependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA) and employees of NPCIL are exempted from payment of the application fee.
