Job Summary
Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota invites
candidates to apply for a full-time, renewable, fixed-term faculty position teaching primarily accounting and finance courses in the
Business and Communication Department starting August 2026. The standard teaching load is 22-24 credit hours per contract year, covering the
disciplines of accounting, finance, economics, and others. Contributions to Saint Mary’s general education and Honors curriculum may also be
included in this position. Classes may include lower-level and upper-level accounting, economics, and finance classes. The position operates
within the undergraduate Business and Communication Department in Winona, MN.
Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000

Experience and Education Requirements
- The successful candidate will possess a doctorate, MBA, or other
Master’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance. - CPA, CMA, CFA, CFP, or related accounting or financial professional certifications
are preferred - Candidates should possess knowledge and skills in learning strategies, instructional technology, and content

Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Strong record of
accomplishment in college-level teaching in a full-time or adjunct role. - Professional experience in accounting and/or finance is
preferred. - May consider other acceptable equivalent combinations of training and experience.
Physical
Demands
- Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and
occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which
involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and
standing are required occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.
