POSITION: Adjunct Faculty – Business and Accounting: Behavioral Sciences Department; Business and Professional Studies Division; Haverhill (100 Elliott Street) or Lawrence campuses (45 Franklin Street); MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position
SUMMARY: For Fall 2026, we are seeking instructors for a primarily day-accelerated, face-to-face Introduction to Accounting I (ACC101) class at 45 Franklin Street in Lawrence.
We are additionally seeking instructors to join our Adjunct Faculty pool to teach a variety of Business and Accounting courses on an as-needed basis. Classes are typically offered at NECC’s Haverhill and/or Lawrence campuses during daytime and evening hours, as well as online, face-to-face, and in hybrid formats.

Please note: Positions will be available pending sufficient enrollment.
REPORTS TO: Dean of Business and Professional Studies
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach assigned courses according to Academic Catalog description and established departmental student learning outcomes.
- Adhere to all NECC policies and MCCC contract requirements, including policies regarding grading, deadlines, evaluation process, and syllabus requirements.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experience teaching in a related discipline at the college level
- Experience using technology in instruction and assessment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Community College teaching experience
- Experience with online and hybrid teaching and experiential learning
- Experience with Brightspace Learning Management System
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population

Additional Information:
SALARY: $1,512.00/credit – $1,826.00/credit, per credit based on DCE step, per the DCE Contract, non-benefited.
