The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) March 2026 timetable for both 1st year (Junior Inter) and 2nd year (Senior Inter) students. The official detailed schedule is available in PDF format on the board’s website, tgbie.cgg.gov.in. It includes subject-wise exam dates, days, and timings for all streams — Science, Commerce and Arts.
According to the timetable, the theory exams for the 1st year will commence on February 25, 2026 and continue until March 17, 2026, while the 2nd Year exams are scheduled from February 26, 2026 to March 18, 2026. This timetable encompasses all core subjects across streams, and students are expected to appear in a single morning shift from 9 am to 12 pm for each theory paper.
The board has also made accommodations for certain dates due to state holidays, such as Holi. For example, some papers originally scheduled to be held on March 3, 2026 were shifted to March 4, 2026.
The practical examinations for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026 will be conducted between February 2 and February 21, 2026, including Sundays. The exams will be held in two sessions — the morning session from 9 am to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 2 pm to 5 pm. The English practical examinations are scheduled separately, with First Year students appearing on January 21, 2026, and Second Year students on January 22, 2026.
The board has clarified that if the Intermediate practical examination dates clash with the JEE Main 2026 schedule, candidates appearing for JEE Main will be provided special provisions or alternative arrangements to appear for their Intermediate practicals.
In addition, the Ethics and Human Values examination — meant exclusively for backlog students — will be conducted on January 23, 2026, from 10 am to 1 pm, as a one-day examination.
The Environmental Education examination will be held on January 24, 2026, also as a one-day exam, from 10 am to 1 pm, the board said.

As per reports, TGBIE will release the hall tickets over WhatsApp. These practicals cover laboratory work, internal assessments and practical skill evaluations specific to Science, Commerce and vocational courses — though the exact practical schedule is also provided distinctly in the official timetable.
To access the timetable, students should visit the official TGBIE portal, locate the “News & Announcements” or “Latest Notifications” section, and download the IPE March 2026 time table PDF. This document not only lists subject-wise exam dates but also includes important instructions — such as reporting time, exam duration and any code requirements — which are crucial for a smooth exam experience.
