The Lyons School of Accounting in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University
invites applications for a full-time, 9-month Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to begin in fall 2026.

Major/Essential Functions
At Texas Tech University, the
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer title designates a full-time, non-tenure-acquiring role with primary duties in teaching organized classes and/or
instructional labs. In line with TTU’s strategic priorities to engage and empower a dynamic student body, applicants should have experience
working with a breadth of student populations at the undergraduate level.
As a faculty member in the Lyons School of Accounting, you
will be expected to contribute to the teaching mission of the school and provide service to the school, college, university, and accounting
profession.
Required Qualifications
- A master’s degree in accounting, information systems, or a closely related
field - At least 18 graduate hours of accounting coursework
- At least two years of full-time professional experience in
accounting, information systems, or a closely related field - An active CPA license or CIA certification
Preferred
Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly
encouraged to apply:
- Teaching experience, especially in accounting information systems or data analytics
- Credentials related
to accounting information systems (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CFE) - Certifications related to accounting information systems (e.g.,
Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or SQL)
