Jamia School Admissions 2026: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has released the admission notice for Jamia Schools for the academic session 2026–27, detailing the application schedule, eligible classes, fees and submission modes. Once the online registration begins, candidates will be able to register through the official portal at admission.jmi.ac.in, as per the official notification dated January 2, 2026.
According to the notice, admissions for Nursery, Preparatory and Class I will begin on January 7, 2026, and the last date to submit application forms is January 27, 2026. These admissions will be conducted at Mushir Fatma Nursery School and Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School (S/F). Candidates applying for these entry-level classes will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 500.

For higher classes, Jamia has announced admissions for Class VI and Class IX, with application forms becoming available from February 5, 2026. The last date for submission for these classes is March 5, 2026. Seats will be offered at Jamia Senior Secondary School, Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School (S/F) and Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School (S/F).
Admissions to Class XI will be conducted separately for Science, Arts and Commerce streams. The application window for Class XI will open on February 20, 2026, and close on March 20, 2026, with an application fee of Rs 500. Class XI admissions will also be held across the same three Jamia senior secondary schools.
In addition, Jamia Millia Islamia will conduct admissions to Balak Mata Centres independently. Application forms for these centres will be available from March 5, 2026, and the submission deadline has been fixed as April 20, 2026.
Unlike other Jamia school admissions, forms for Balak Mata Centres must be submitted offline at designated centres located in Matia Mahal, Qassabpura and Beriwala Bagh. The application fee for Balak Mata Centres is Rs 50, as stated in the official notice.
