UPJEE JEECUP Exams & Registration 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council (UPJEE) has released a notification for the UP Polytechnic JEECUP entrance exam. The JEECUP exam will be held between May 15 and May 20. The registrations will start on January 15. The Council will end the JEECUP registration on April 30 at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
As per the JEECUP schedule announced by the council, the 2026 academic session exam for groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, K1 to K8 will be conducted in online mode between the above-mentioned dates. In 2025, the UPJEE Polytechnic exam was held between May 20 and May 28, 2025.
The JEECUP examination is a state-level entrance test conducted for admission to diploma-level polytechnic programmes in engineering, technology, and management. The exam facilitates entry into various institutions across Uttar Pradesh offering these programmes.

JEECUP 2026: UPJEE Application Steps
Step 1. Visit the JEECUP official website — jeecup.admissions.nic.in
Step 2. Register with names and contact details
Step 3. Fill in the required details
Step 4. Pay the application fee online
Step 5. Submit the UPJEE 2026 application form
For the JEECUP registration process, candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories will need to pay an application fee of Rs 300, while candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and other reserved categories will need to pay Rs 200.
There will be one paper for each group, having 100 objective-type questions. The duration of the test will be three hours. For each correct question, four marks will be given, and one-fourth mark will be deducted for wrong answers.
