CBSE Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the admit cards for Class 10 and Class 12 private candidates appearing in the CBSE Board Examinations 2026. Registered candidates can now access and download their hall tickets from the board’s official website at cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations are scheduled to be held from February 17 to April 9, 2026. Candidates are required to carry a printed copy of the admit card to the examination centre, as entry will not be permitted without it.
How to download CBSE Admit Card 2026 for private candidates
Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link related to Class 10 or Class 12 private candidate admit cards.
Step 3: Enter the required login credentials as prompted on the screen.
Step 4: Submit the details to view the admit card.
Step 5: Download the admit card and take a clear printout for use on the examination days.

CBSE earlier advised students to thoroughly check all particulars mentioned on the admit card and report any discrepancies to the concerned regional office at the earliest.
The hall ticket contains information such as the candidate’s name, board roll number, subject-wise examination dates, details of theory and practical components, total marks, passing criteria, and the allotted examination centre adress, centre code and other details.

Earlier last week, the CBSE has issued an advisory warning students and parents against enrolling in fake or unrecognised universities in the upcoming 2026–27 session. In its notice, the CBSE instructed schools to counsel senior students and encourage verifying institution status via the UGC website.
