The Maharashtra State Examination Council, Pune, has declared the results of the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHATET) 2025. Candidates who appeared for Paper 1 and Paper 2 can check their results by logging into the official website, mahatet.in, using their username and password.
Once logged in, they can download their MAHA TET 2025 scorecard, which will include important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, registration number, photograph, marks secured in both papers, overall score, and qualifying status.
Re-evaluation of marks
Candidates who are dissatisfied with their scores in the MAHATET 2025 examination have the option to request a re-evaluation of marks or raise objections to the provisional result through the official portal using their login credentials.
According to the official notification, the objection window is available from January 16 to January 21, 2026, until 6 pm, and submissions made through any other mode will not be accepted.
The final answer key for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 was published on January 12, 2026, while the MAHATET 2025 exam itself was conducted on November 23, 2025. Candidates are advised to retain a copy of their scorecard for future use in recruitment or eligibility-related processes.
Qualifying marks
MAHA TET 2025 has set the qualifying marks at 50 per cent for general category candidates and 45 per cent for those belonging to EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories. Candidates who achieve these cut-offs will be deemed qualified and awarded the MAHA TET certificate.
This certificate carries lifetime validity and serves as proof of teacher eligibility under the prevailing recruitment rules.
