The Telangana Model Schools, Hyderabad, has announced the schedule for the Model Schools Admission Test (MSAT) 2026. The Telangana Model School Admission Test is conducted for admission into Class 6 and for filling vacant seats in Classes 7 to 10 for the academic year 2026–27.
According to an official press note released on January 16, 2026, the online application process will begin on January 28 and will remain open till February 28, 2026, for all classes from Class 6 to Class 10.
The application fees for OC Students is Rs 200 and for BC, SC, ST, PWD and EWS students, the Model School admission test fee is Rs 125. For all other particulars, the administering body has asked the aspirants to visit the official website of model schools – tgms.telangana.gov.in.
Candidates who submit their applications will be able to download their hall tickets from April 9. The Telangana Model School Admission Test 2026 for Classes 6 to 10 will be conducted on April 19 (Sunday).
The Telangana Model School Admission Test will be held in two sessions. For Class 6, the test will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon, while for Classes 7 to 10, the examination will take place from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The admission test will be conducted at schools located in the respective mandals of the candidates. Further details regarding eligibility, syllabus, and application guidelines are expected to be notified along with the official notification on the Telangana Model Schools portal.
