Position
Summary
The Department of Accounting and Taxation in the Leo J. Meehan School of Business at Stonehill College invites
applicants for an Adjunct Instructor of Accounting. This is a one-semester position for Spring 2026 with the potential for
extension.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
We seek applicants with experience and interest in
teaching financial accounting. The successful candidate will deliver the following courses: ACC 203 Financial Accounting: Section G –
Tuesday, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm, and/or Section I – Wednesday, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm (both on-campus/in-person).
The course is
fully prepared and ready for implementation (syllabus, course design, and teaching resources will be provided). Flexibility is built into
the design to allow for some instructor-specific interests.
Education and/or Experience
Candidates must
hold a master’s or doctoral degree in accounting or a related field and have current and active related professional experience. Candidates
who do not have current professional activities cannot be considered. Professional certification (e.g., CPA) and experience teaching at the
undergraduate level are preferred.
