RRB JE Recruitment 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will end the online application window for the RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2025 today, on December 10. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for posts such as as Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, or Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant can submit their forms through the official application portal – rrbapply.gov.in, or regional RRB websites, such as rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbjammu.nic.in, rrbchennai.gov.in, rrbbhopal.gov.in, and others.
This recruitment drive will now fill 2,585 posts, after a recent corrigendum revised the original count of 2,569 vacancies. The update reflects an increase in openings for RRB Chennai and RRB Jammu–Srinagar, where 169 and 95 posts, respectively, will be filled.

Following the close of the registration window, the correction/editing facility will be available from December 13 to December 22, 2025.
What is the exam pattern for RRB JE 2025 CBT 1?
The selection process includes two Computer-Based Tests. CBT 1 consists of 100 questions (100 marks) to be completed in 90 minutes and covers Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and General Science. CBT 2, conducted over 120 minutes, comprises 150 questions (150 marks) and includes sections on Technical Abilities, Physics & Chemistry, Basics of Computers, Environment & Pollution, and General Awareness. Both exams carry a negative marking of one-third mark for every incorrect answer.
