In December, the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi students secured 1277 pre-placement offers, and over 1,140 students were placed. Over 300 PPOs were received this year — a surge of more than 33 per cent from last year, as stated in the press release.
The students have also received more than 35 international offers from organisations across multiple global regions, including Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, the UAE, and the United Kingdom.

Recruiters with double digit offers on campus this year so far include Accenture Strategy and Consulting, Amazon, American Express, Bajaj Auto Technology Ltd, Barclays, Deutsche India Pvt Ltd, Eternal Limited, EXL Services, EY GDS, EY Parthenon, Glean Search Technologies India Pvt Ltd, Google, Goldman Sachs, Graviton Research Capital, JP Morgan, Meesho, Microsoft, Navi, Nine Education, Oracle, PayU Payments, Qualcomm, Schlumberger, Squarepoint Capital, Sterlite Group, Texas instruments, and Wells Fargo International Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Commenting on the ongoing placement season, Prof. Naresh V Datla, Professor-in-Charge of the Office of Career Services (OCS), IIT Delhi, said, “IIT Delhi has witnessed a strong and encouraging placement season this year. The consistent performance of our students reflects their academic rigour, adaptability, and readiness for industry challenges. The placement season for the academic year 2025–26 at IIT Delhi spans till the end of May, with OCS hosting additional companies in the coming days.
On the other hand, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi – Abu Dhabi campus will have around 400 students next year, nearly double the present strength, a top official has said.

Shantanu Roy, Executive Director, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi-Abu Dhabi, said that while IIT Delhi presently has around 12,000 students, the Abu Dhabi campus has 182 students.
That number is likely to become 400 next year, Roy told visiting Indian media during an interaction at the IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi campus recently.
