Read| When is NTA releasing JEE Main Session 1 city intimation slips?
The city intimation slip will inform candidates about the city in which their examination centre is located, allowing them to plan travel and accommodation in advance. It should be noted that the city slip is different from the admit card, as it does not contain the exact exam centre address or reporting instructions, which will be mentioned separately on the hall ticket.
JEE Main Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, as well as institutions and universities funded or recognised by participating state governments. The exam also serves as the eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is held for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.
