XAT 2026: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) conducting body, XLRI, has released the response sheet and question papers of XAT 2026. The XAT 2026 was held on January 4. The official website to download the response sheets is xatonline.in.
XAT 2026 response sheet: How to download
Step 1: Go to the official website — xatonline.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘response sheet’ link
Step 3: In the login page enter XAT ID and date of birth as password
Step 4: Check the response sheet and download
Candidates are also allowed to raise grievances against the response sheet. The XAT 2026 answer keys will be released next.
The XAT 2026 exam question paper included five sections which are bifurcated into three parts. The first part consisted of Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision-making, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation and the second part will consist of keyboard testing. While the third part will consist of Essay Writing and General Awareness. The scores from the General Knowledge (GK) will be exclusively utilised by XLRI for its final selection process, a statement on the official website read.
Each question in XAT 2026 carries 1 mark, with 95 questions expected in total. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. You can skip up to 8 questions without any penalty, but skipping more than 8 questions will incur a penalty of 0.1 marks per question. The GK section does not have negative marking and won’t contribute to the overall percentile or cutoff score, but it will be considered in the selection process.
