Summary of Duties
Responsibilities involve full-time teaching of a range of courses in the areas of business management, human resources, project management, introductory supply chain, introductory accounting, and introductory economics.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach business courses with a typical load of 16 credit hours per semester. Courses may be offered days, evenings, and weekends, as well as online. Must be able to teach classes physically on campus in Lima, Ohio.
- Maintain a minimum of five scheduled office hours per week.
- Advise students; develop, maintain, and revise curriculum; assess and evaluate student learning; support accreditation processes and compliance activities.
- Participate in professional activities that support institutional operations, governance, and student success. Examples include membership on college councils and committees, engagement with institutional grants, active participation on national, state or local boards/committees, and engagement in community-sponsored events.
- Engage in scholarly development that may include maintaining credentials, or any profession-based contributions that advance knowledge, teaching, or practice.
- Foster an atmosphere of support for our student population.
- Be committed to implementation of the philosophy and conceptual framework of the Division of Technology & Liberal Studies.
- Perform other similar duties as required.

Required:
- Ability to interact positively with students and colleagues.
- Committed to the two year college mission and quality instruction.
Preferred:
- Professional work experience in management, human resources or supply chain required. Individuals with professional certifications in management, supply chain, accounting, human resources or project management
- Previous teaching experience at a two-year college level.
Education & Certifications
Required:
A masters degree in Business Administration or closely related field
Preferred:
A doctoral degree in Economics, Business or related field
