The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) December 2025 session. Candidates appearing for the exam on December 31 can download their admit cards from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. As per the public notice, the UGC-NET December 2025 will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode across exam centres nationwide, covering 85 subjects.
The examination is scheduled to take place on December 31, January 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7. Each exam day will have two shifts: the morning session from 9 am to noon and the afternoon session from 3 pm to 6 pm.
UGC NET 2025: How to download admit cards
Step 1: Visit the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link labelled ‘UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card’
Step 3: Enter your UGC NET December 2025 application number, date of birth, and the security pin displayed on the screen
Step 4: Submit and download the UGC NET December 2025 admit card
To download the UGC NET December 2025 admit card, candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth. The admit card will include essential information such as the roll number, candidate’s name, application number, reporting time, exam centre details, examination schedule, and important instructions for the exam day.

The admit card will clearly mention both the reporting time and the exam start time. Candidates must report to the centre at least 60 minutes before the exam begins to complete entry formalities, as late entry will not be permitted once the gates are closed.
UGC NET 2025: Marking Schemes
(a) To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as the correct option.
(b) Each question carries 02 (two) marks.
(c) For each correct response, the candidate will get 02 (two) marks.
(d) There is no negative marking for incorrect response.
(e) No marks will be given for questions unanswered/un-attempted/marked for Review.

(f) If a question is found to be incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers would be given credit.
(g) If a question is found to be incorrect and the Question is dropped, then two marks (+2) will be awarded to only to those candidates who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error. Since there is no negative marking, the candidate needs to choose the most appropriate option as cthe orrect answer.
