Description
The School of Accountancy invites applications for two full-time lecturers or senior lecturers in accounting beginning in August 2026. This position carries a traditional lecturer teaching load (typically 4 courses in fall and 4 courses in spring). Successful candidates will also be expected to engage in meaningful service to the School of Accountancy, engage with students in professional development activities, and engage with employers and accounting professionals.

The School of Accountancy is a unit of the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business and encompasses the disciplines of accounting and legal studies in business. The School of Accountancy offers two degrees: the BS in Accounting and the MPAcc. The bachelor and master programs in accounting are AACSB International accredited and the accounting program is endorsed by the IMA (https://www.clemson.edu/business/departments/accountancy).
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in accounting and also have work experience in the accounting profession. Holding a CPA certification is also desirable.
To be appointed at the rank of senior lecturer a candidate must have multiple years of college level teaching experience.
