Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University invites applications for a full-time, 9 month Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to begin in fall
2026. This faculty member will teach in two of the following functional areas: financial accounting, managerial/cost accounting, taxation,
and accounting. The typical load for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is four courses per semester, fall and spring. Summer teaching opportunities
may exist for additional compensation.

will teach in two of the following functional areas: financial accounting, managerial/cost accounting, taxation, and accounting. The typical
load for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is four courses per semester, fall and spring. Summer teaching opportunities may exist for additional

Major/Essential Functions
At Texas Tech University, the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer title designates a
full-time, non-tenure-acquiring role with primary duties in teaching organized classes and/or instructional labs. In line with TTU’s
strategic priorities to engage and empower a dynamic student body, applicants should have experience working with a breadth of student
populations at the undergraduate level.
As a faculty member in the Lyons School of Accounting, you will be expected to contribute to
the teaching mission of the school, including online teaching, and provide service to the school, college, university, and accounting
profession.
Required Qualifications
- A master’s degree in accounting or taxation
- At least 18 graduate hours of
accounting coursework - At least two years of full-time professional experience in accounting and/or taxation
- An active CPA
license
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred
qualification are strongly encouraged to apply:
- Teaching experience, especially in financial accounting, managerial/cost accounting,
taxation, and/or auditing
